Multifamily / Commercial Estimator

Role Description We are currently looking for a Multifamily Estimator to join the team! The Multifamily Estimator is responsible for estimating the detailed list of materials, (lumber, siding, interior trim, and hardware) for purchasing and production for new projects, according to architectural plans and engineered drawings. REMOTE - must reside within the United States Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Provides a detailed list of material estimates from drawings for purchasing and field construction - Estimates and submits proposals for approval - Assists coordinating the project at various stages with shipping lists, field support take offs, and construction - Communicates effectively with all organizational levels - Provides problem-solving solutions using Building Codes and product information - Assist other estimators - Works with estimating & Project Management to complete assignments in a timely manner - Compile legible quotes for submission to client - Performs other duties as required Qualifications - 1-5 Years of Experience with Multi-family / Commercial estimating required - Proficiency in hand done material take-offs - Working knowledge and experience using Planswift or excel preferred - Working knowledge and experience reading architectural and engineered drawings - Construction experience with hands on framing experience preferred Requirements - Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking - Excellent written skills - Ability to read and understand construction drawings - Ability to read, understand and interpret building codes - Strong math skills including algebra and geometry - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Strong Organizational Skills - Ability to use a computer terminal - Ability to learn estimating software - Ability to successfully interact with all organizational levels and the public - Ability to communicate effectively with others, including customers, builders, peers, and management - Ability to manage several activities/projects at once, to organize and prioritize work, to meet deadlines, and work under little supervision - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and ability to learn estimating software - Ability to perform duties independently, while also functioning as part of the overall team - Ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time, be mobile in the work environment, and work hours mandated by management - Ability to pass a drug test Benefits - $45,000 - 65,000 annually - A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided. - Medical insurance - Health savings account with company contribution - Dental insurance - Vision insurance - Basic and voluntary life insurance - Disability insurance - 401(k) plan with company match - Paid vacation and holidays - Stock purchase program with employee discount - Educational reimbursement - Wellness programs and challenges - Other supplemental benefits

Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role, with a strong track record of delivering advanced reporting for multiple stakeholder teams. - Advanced SQL skills; ability to define ETL requirements and work with complex, heterogeneous datasets. - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, or equivalent) and building client-facing or executive-ready dashboards. - Strong communication skills with experience presenting data-driven findings to senior management and cross-functional teams. - Demonstrated ability to identify data quality root causes and implement systematic solutions.
