Role Description Serves as the commercial lines telematics product risk management business partner between the company, agents and our customers. Reviews, interprets, and assesses customer telematics data in conjunction with customer's existing fleet exposures and controls, and the subsequent level of risk presented. Uses a consultative approach to improve unsafe driving behaviors and overall fleet risk. - Shows value to all stakeholders through exceptional risk management and customer service. - Communicates effectively across functions using technical expertise, customer-facing skills, and leadership capabilities. - All job duties must comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities - Evaluate and understand telematics data and operations of larger, complicated commercial auto accounts. - Identify potential loss-producing conditions and remediation practices. - Consult with telematics product team, Risk Management team, underwriters, and agents on identified conditions. - Complete written risk assessments in accordance with internal quality assessment guidelines. - Analyze telematics data and loss history to identify loss sources, trends in unsafe driving behaviors, accident frequency, and severity. - Provide clear summaries of analyses to customers, agents, and underwriters. - Investigate and monitor industry trends for loss benchmarking. - Develop effective risk reduction recommendations and ongoing risk management objectives. - Provide ongoing telematics and fleet risk management services for customers. - Assist with telematics-related customer support and technical issues as needed. - Develop effective communication with internal business partners and agents. - Efficiently manage work scheduling to meet internal and external customer needs. - Prepare and present technical presentations on fleet risk management topics. - Maintain a high level of knowledge of fleet risk management techniques and telematics principles. - Share knowledge and mentor less experienced team members on middle-market telematics accounts. - Support Senior Telematics Advisor in crafting internal telematics education and training resources. - Interact directly with agency partners to support telematics strategy and adoption. Qualifications - Ability to meet with customers and agents to assess and maintain risk. - Effective communication skills with customers and agents to encourage risk management strategies. - Proficiency in technology tools including GenAI, telematics dashboards, Microsoft Office, work management systems, PowerBI, etc. - Project management skills are a plus. - Ability to travel up to 10%. - A college degree is preferred. - 0-4 years proficiency in assessing and managing risks through field-based experience. - Exceptional problem-solving abilities and knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and other applicable technical standards.
