Role Description We are currently recruiting for the role of Swimming Activator – Munster to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting time with the launch of the National Swimming Strategy which calls for the deployment of Swimming Activators to work with all stakeholders to ensure the active promotion and development of swimming opportunities. Swimming Activators will work with: - Local Sports Partnerships (LSPs) - Local authorities - Facility operators - Clubs - Schools - Community groups Their efforts will align with Swim Ireland’s Participation Strategy and the National Swimming Strategy (2024-2027), aiming for: - Increased participation in the short term - Long-term goals of community health improvement - Increased capacity - Aquatic workforce development Swim Ireland’s selection process aims to ensure that we get the right people recruited into the right role. Qualifications - Relevant experience in a similar role, or previous experience in a sports environment. - Relevant third level qualification to degree level in Sports Development, Sports & Recreation, Health Promotion, or other relevant disciplines or at least 2 years of relevant on the job experience. - Ability to work on your own initiative. - Ability to deal with queries efficiently and effectively. - A knowledge of local and regional sports structures. - Highly motivated and have a proven track record in sports development and programme delivery. Requirements - Excellent organisational and leadership skills. - Excellent communication and administration skills, with attention to detail. - Excellent people skills, willing to meet new people and work with volunteers. - Strong work ethic, flexibility and adaptability. - Team player, with ability to work on their own initiative or under pressure. - Swimming teacher qualification would be beneficial but is not essential. - Be eligible to work in Ireland on a full-time basis. - Some evening and weekend work is expected; availability for flexible working hours is required. - Full, clean driving license and access to vehicle. - Excellent working knowledge of IT and software packages including MSOffice, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. - Knowledge and experience of designing, delivering and evaluating programmes. Benefits - The package will include a salary commensurate with qualifications and experience to commence at circa €35,000 per annum. - Position Tenure: Fixed-term full-time contract to 31 December 2027. - Position Location: Munster with a roving role working remotely and can utilise office space both at home and within offices in the Munster region. - Occasional travel to Swim Ireland office at Sport Ireland Campus, Dublin will be required. - Appointment will be made subject to satisfactory safeguarding and vetting requirements; and reference checks. - Closing date for applications is Monday 13th July. - Interviews will be held in Munster during the week commencing 20th July 2026.

• Lead the central planning, logistics, and operational execution for major offline events • Partner closely with our Retail division for event coordination • Work cross-functionally to integrate core offerings

• Own end-to-end event logistics for 2-3 tradeshows: including booth design and planning, venue coordination, shipping, and managing leads times and sponsor deadlines. • Coordinate hotel room blocks, team travel, and event registration for Logicbroker attendees • Manage vendor contract deliverables, POs, and budget tracking • Host weekly pre-event meetings with key stakeholders and internal teams to hold accountability on event KPIs, logistics, and how to uphold the Logicbroker brand • Build and execute bespoke events such as dinners, meetups by working on venue selection, F&B, AV contractors and attendee communication • Maintain updates to our master event calendar and logistics tracker • Source and manage branded swag, promotional materials, and collateral shipments • Manage internal tracking in the form of lead assignments, pre- and post-show sales engagement, and basic reporting

• Collaborate with a wide variety of partner teams to understand their pain points, prototype proposed solutions, and drive adoption of logging products and tooling. • Own the technical direction and roadmap for a major area of the logging platform, aligning it with broader organizational priorities. • Lead investments into new technical capabilities that push the envelope and unlock product innovation • Create and present design, product, and architecture documents and provide feedback on others. • Translate prototypes to high quality, scalable, and maintainable production code through iterative development. • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly in the logging and observability space. • Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
