Role Description The Legal Counsel (PBM Contracting) provides tactical legal advice and support to internal clients, typically at the Director or Vice President level. - Provide tactical legal advice and support to internal clients including PBM, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, government programs, administrative support functions or other areas as assigned. - Perform research, drafting and transactional work in support of legal matters, with a focus on client-facing contracting and support of account management functions. - Advise internal clients regarding compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies; develop and facilitate legal training and investigate issues as needed. - Provide client training on legal principles. - Coordinate partnership with in-house and outside legal resources where appropriate. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Juris doctor degree. - Current license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. - 5 years of experience practicing as an attorney or related legal experience in a regulatory or compliance role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with managed care companies or other health care clients. - Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
