Nursing National Service Line Associate Vice President

Role Description - Accountable for the professional practice of nursing in the service line (i.e., Cardiovascular, Neurosciences, Oncology). - Lead cross-functional teams to execute nursing and service line strategic priorities and initiatives. - Develop and oversee clinical quality improvement initiatives, which are service line focused, cross the care continuum, and achieve continuous improvements using measurable monitoring tools and processes. - Through business intelligence, utilize complex data analysis to drive clinical performance and excellence. - Redesign care delivery alongside nursing leaders, optimizing workforce contributions, and increasing efficiency, efficacy, and overall clinical outcomes. - Implement national standards and best practices across the service line in partnership with enterprise, divisional and site clinical leadership. - Standardize and align clinical practices at the enterprise and division levels, optimize partnership with the site Clinical Nurse Specialist and Practice Leaders. - Promote professional governance structures and processes for caregivers to influence improvements in their clinical practice. - Function as an expert consultant on nursing practice, ensuring patient services are in compliance with nursing standards, evidence-based practices, as well as state and federal regulations. - Drive digital health transformation, building processes and innovative solutions and platforms to improve clinical practice workflows and the work environment aligning to the enterprise nursing strategic plan. - Drive clinical inquiry and embed evidence into clinical practice, policy, and procedure. - Support service line alignment with enterprise EBP strategy. - Advance the practice of nursing by implementing evidence-based practice interventions; use data measures to improve clinical outcomes for service lines; support and lead while guiding and using nursing research. Qualifications - Master’s degree in nursing or relevant healthcare field. - Licensed Registered Nurse. - Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience, combination of inpatient and ambulatory experience preferred. - Demonstrated leadership experience in service line or system-level roles. - Strong skills in building clinical partnerships with fellow Chief Medical Officers (CMOs), Chief Nursing Officers (CNOs), Service Line Leaders, Enterprise Nursing Practice, and other administrative and operational leaders. - Effective communication skills. - Skills in comprehensive data analysis. Requirements - This position will be remote and periodically require travel. - Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
