Job Description

Regional Vice President

AmeriLife

• Develop existing and new business relationships • Sources potential new business deals through prospecting activities • Closes new business deals by coordinating the requirements for each case with our underwriting operations team, principals, advisor, carrier and lender partners • Coordinates various financial and insurance underwriting issues. • Develop one on one relationships with selected firm clients and their advisors along with selected firm contacts. • Work closely with firm’s illustration team • Utilize firm’s CRM to manage all workflows and case notes. • Maintain and enhance firm’s reputation as a, “Can-Do” organization and the leader in our industry. • Assist in the firm’s marketing efforts with emphasis on webinars and group meetings. • Attend periodic off-site networking events and conferences • Accept ownership of all aspects of an assigned client.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Advanced degree a plus

  • Must be life insurance licensed or able to get licensed in the first 6 months
  • Experience using a CRM, experience with Salesforce a plus, but not required

  • Some level of familiarity with things like LIBOR, Treasury Yields, S&P 500 historical information preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, process improvement and efficiency expertise
  • Ability to work independently and at a quick pace
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and resource management skills.
  • Problem solver, with the ability to be proactive in high stress situations.
