• Lead completion of energy audits, retro-commissioning, investigations, and carbon reduction (decarbonization) audits of various facilities - primarily in industrial facilities, occasionally including healthcare, laboratory, higher education, commercial, and municipal facilities. • Identify energy conservation projects that include both capital and operational measures • Analyze data from temporary data loggers, permanent submeters, and customer provided BMS trend data to identify and quantify opportunities • Troubleshoot faulty systems and provide recommendations for corrective actions • Perform calculations of energy savings and help develop calculation templates • Prepare project implementation cost estimates • Review engineering designs, shop drawings, operation & maintenance manuals, and other construction documentation • Prepare technical reports and presentations and assist in presenting to clients and senior leaders • Ensure that savings projects for identified projects are plausible and financial risk is identified • Experience with ongoing measurement and verification of projected energy savings is a plus • Attend jobsite meetings and field surveys as required • Manage execution of projects and associated staff assignments to ensure timely client deliverables and quality • Work with national clients to help achieve sustainability goals

Airbus U.S. is looking for an experienced Guidance, Navigation, and Control engineer to develop solutions for satellite Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems. Position Responsibilities: - Contributing to the development of Airbus U.S.'s satellite GNC systems. - Involved in the full lifecycle of development, from requirements definition through operations. - Eager to learn, grow, and take on new and potentially unfamiliar challenges. Guidance, Navigation, and Control - 50% - Design and implement GNC designs for new spacecraft to accommodate various mission payloads. - Analyze, design, and/or develop GNC systems including: - Sensors and actuators - Algorithms and flight software - GNC electronics - Support the development of subsystem level requirements and requirement flow-down. - Ensure maximum reuse of existing Airbus heritage products and identify modification needs. - Drive multiple design activities (programs or mission). - Participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution. Additional Responsibilities - 10% - Perform all necessary GNC system engineering activities to build, maintain, and evolve Airbus spacecraft products. - Promote and optimize cost savings by reusing heritage platform designs. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technical, Engineering, Math) or related scientific areas. - Preferred: Master's in STEM (Science, Technical, Engineering, Math) or related scientific areas. Requirements - 8+ years' experience (w/ Bachelor's degree) / 6+ years' experience (w/ Master's degree) in guidance, navigation, and control system analysis, design, and verification on spacecraft. - Proficiency with Matlab/Simulink and STK. - Proficiency in modeling, simulating, and analyzing the performance of spacecraft GNC sensors, actuators, dynamics, and algorithms. - Familiarity and experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML/UML). - Familiarity with software development, verification, and validation. - Experience with object-oriented programming (C, C++) and scripting languages (TCL, Python). • Contribute and support Fire Protection engineering, fire and life safety systems, code compliance, and risk assessment efforts for the firm. • Develop comprehensive fire protection plans and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. • Execute engineering and design duties as required to ensure quality products. • Direct and mentor subordinate staff, where applicable, on their responsibilities. • Design layout of distribution systems and equipment locations in coordination with team members within the discipline.
