Role Description This is not an academic post. This is a research role inside a company that ships product. This is a company that cares deeply about the real next wave of AI. You will work on the hardest problems and with frontier data. Your work will have measurable, visible impact on how companies operate. You will: - Design and run experiments with real data most researchers never get to touch. - Have the opportunity to run some crazy data experiments (the founder loves doing this). Qualifications - Strong fundamentals in machine learning, linear algebra, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline. - Ability to design rigorous experiments and reason carefully about results. - Comfortable writing production-quality Python. - Clear thinking about ambiguous problems and ability to make progress without a syllabus. - Ability to communicate findings in plain language, not just in notation. Requirements - No minimum years of experience required; depth of thinking and quality of work are prioritized. - Submit a 2-minute video walkthrough of a research area or product you built, showcasing what it does, how you did it, and why.

Role Description This is a spring/summer engineering internship at a company that cares deeply about the real next wave of AI. You will not be doing what a regular SWE intern does. You will build real features, write real code, and ship real software that customers use. You will work directly with the founder and the engineering team on problems that matter. If you are great, this converts to a full-time role. This will be one of the most fun, yet challenging times of your life. - Build and ship features across the Autostep platform using Python, Node.js, and Next.js. - Work with real data at a scale you have not worked with before. - Contribute to backend services, frontend interfaces, and internal tooling. - Participate in customer feedback loops and see your work used in production. - Learn how an early-stage company operates from the inside: fundraising, sales, product decisions, hiring. Qualifications - You are hungry. - You build things on your own time because you cannot help it. - You are comfortable in Python or JavaScript and eager to go deeper. - You think clearly, communicate directly, and do not need to be told what to do twice. - You want to be at a startup because you want to learn fast and do real work, not because you want a name on your resume.
