Role Description - Sourcing: - Work in partnership with internal and/or external stakeholders to develop, implement and execute targeted sourcing and screening strategies. - Stay abreast of and utilize effective sourcing techniques and strategies. - Assist in evaluating vendor partners. - Measurement and Analysis: - Utilize relevant metrics for ongoing evaluation to assess the effectiveness of recruitment, selection, and placement. - Adjust strategies based on results. - Recruiting and Placement: - Conduct full life-cycle recruitment activities (sourcing, applicant assessment, selection, hiring, and onboarding) for assigned divisions, positions, or programs of moderate complexity, within the medical center. - Develop pipelines of qualified candidates for key positions. - Advise and assist recruiters in candidate identification and selection decisions based on candidate performance indicators, EEO/AA, and fair employment practices. - Comply with and support Cincinnati Children's EEO/Affirmative Action efforts in recruitment and selection. - Consulting: - Coach and counsel recruiters on matters related to candidate attraction and identification, selection, onboarding, compensation, and general management practices consistent with personnel policies and applicable employment laws. - Develop understanding of clients' specific recruitment needs and maintain positive working relationships in order to provide guidance and make appropriate recommendations. - Counsel applicants regarding minimum requirements, career opportunities and transfer/promotion policy interpretation. The consultant will work closely with both the .NET modernization team and the database migration team to ensure alignment across application code, database schemas, connection management, and query behavior.
