• Work on database migration projects and modernization initiatives • Handle SQL Server to PostgreSQL code conversion and remediation • Conduct functional and performance testing of database objects • Collaborate with teams for data validation and migration testing • Prepare assessment reports using AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT)

Job Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder ONLY
  • 3+ years of SQL development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Views, PostgreSQL and PL/pgSQL, SQL Server to PostgreSQL code conversion and remediation, Functional and performance testing of database objects
  • Familiarity with: T-SQL to PostgreSQL dialect conversion (TOP/LIMIT, ISNULL/COALESCE, GETDATE()/NOW(), temp tables, identity vs. sequences), AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) assessment reports and remediation, Data validation and migration testing
  • Experience supporting database modernization or migration projects.
  • Preferred: AWS DMS experience. SSIS/SSRS remediation or migration experience. AWS exposure and SQL Server to PostgreSQL migration experience. Familiarity with AWS Glue and ETL modernization concepts.
