• Responsible for the screening and accurate completion of referrals to ensure patients meet agency admission criteria and comply with state and federal regulations. • Processes referrals for all programs (Traditional, Peds, and Infusion Therapy) from hospital sites, MD offices, utilizing standard work and determines whether patient qualifies for home care based on established guidelines. • Verifies home health care benefits according to payor plans. • Obtains authorizations for services as indicated. • Ensure physicians initial home care orders are obtained. • Identifies risk management situations and completes high risk referral process on all appropriate patients based on established guidelines. • Interprets company services, admission criteria and medical policies to referral sources and individuals seeking information. • Documents the initial plan of home health care and initiates interdisciplinary communication. • Interviews patients/families in the hospital or SNF, to assess and evaluate patient for home care appropriateness. • Works in conjunction with the care management staff to assist the patient/family in the initiation of home care services. Responds to inquiries regarding home care services. • Works within established productivity guidelines for assigned site(s). Reports productivity to supervisor daily. • Trains patient/families in using equipment (e.g. pump) at home. Provide quality customer service; promote collaboration/coordination between referral sources and home care services to promote continuity of care and utilization of home care resources effectively.
Job Requirements
- RN with 3-4 years’ experience
- 1-2 years in home care preferred
- Very good communication skills
- Knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations
- Experience in multi-tasking on multiple computer systems
- Strong customer service skills
- Working knowledge of managed care environment
- Critical thinking skills
- Current RN licensure

• Be able to answer questions from customers concerning the claim handling process and insurance coverage • Handle all aspects of resolving total loss claims for both carrier retained salvage vehicles and owner retained salvage vehicles in a cost effective manner • Using various resources, determine accurate total loss vehicle valuations • Provide customer service to insured parties, third party claimants and lienholders with regards to total loss and salvage • Be able to fully understand and explain the total loss process to customers and the value of their total loss vehicles • Negotiate total loss settlements with customers • Comply with state Department of Motor Vehicle laws pertaining to the settlement of total loss vehicles (owner retained and company retained) • Handle the salvage on total loss vehicles including moving vehicles to storage free locations or salvage vendors as quickly as possible • Send appropriate DMV forms and company required documents, review them upon return • Comply with state and federal laws, Department of Insurance criteria, insurance carrier criteria and follows Aspire General Insurance Company partner’s policies, procedure and work rules • Have regular and predictable punctuality and attendance • Assist claims department by completing special projects • Assist team members on more complicated or complex losses • Works on and/or leads special projects as requested by management • Completes most work with little to no supervision • Other duties as assigned/requested
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the field service team • Ensure that on-site maintenance and troubleshooting efforts are scheduled and effectively handled • Lead and supervise a team of field service representatives when supporting customers on-site • Work closely with the Field Office Administrator to develop, maintain, and adjust FSR schedules • Build and maintain strong working relationships with third-party field service contractors • Oversee and ensure the timely and effective resolution of customer issues • Create and manage Work Orders, ensuring each includes a clear and detailed scope of work • Oversee and ensure FSRs complete accurate and timely field reports and properly close Work Orders • Maintain a good understanding of products/services and stay up to date with changes • Identify training needs and provide ongoing coaching and development to team members • Continuously evaluate and optimize support processes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction • Generate regular reports on team performance, KPIs, and trends to senior management.
