Role Description New Relic's observability platform is trusted by organizations globally to facilitate better software development through data-driven insights. Logs constitute a core element of this platform. To begin understanding a system, the initial step is transmitting logs and other telemetry to New Relic. Our thousands of customers depend on their logs, analyzing petabytes of log data, to effectively detect and resolve issues. We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to provide strategic, technical leadership within this fast-growing team. While we are looking for a true Frontend specialist rather than a generalist "full-stack" developer, it is crucial that you have a solid backend background. Your primary focus will be leading frontend initiatives across Log Management. This includes: - Leading the frontend work for Logs Intelligence—a new and critical suite of AI-driven innovations. - Driving the development of new user experiences in other key product areas like Log Compliance and Log Ingestion features. - Developing supporting APIs and occasionally contributing to backend services. - Participating in our team's on-call rotation. Qualifications - 8+ years of software engineering experience, operating as a dedicated Frontend specialist but possessing a strong, practical background in backend development. - Expertise in React, TypeScript, including hooks, state management, and component-based architecture. - Hands-on experience leveraging agentic AI tools (e.g., AI coding assistants) to improve engineering efficiency. - Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to implement and build product features or solutions. - Proficiency in frontend unit testing and automated end-to-end testing using frameworks like Playwright. - Good communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders using Slack, Zoom, and documentation tools such as Confluence and Google Docs/Presentations. Requirements - Some experience in Java, NodeJS or Python for backend API development, with the ability to navigate and understand complex backend systems to participate effectively in on-call triage and occasional backend contributions. - Familiarity with streaming platforms like Kafka and an understanding of highly distributed systems. - Experience working on products that handle extremely high data throughput. - Previous experience deeply involved in site reliability work or maintaining complex streaming pipelines. • Provide strategic and operational leadership for patient access and revenue cycle functions. • Oversee all aspects of patient access and partners with stakeholders to create and sustain programs enhancing access to care. • Work closely with corporate leaders to ensure optimal patient access strategies. • Provide leadership to build standardized compliant patient access practices across the organization. • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies. • Collaborate with IT to embed consumerism technology within patient access workflows. • Develop disaster recovery plans with partners.

• Design and implement an enterprise-grade agentic development environment using Kiro or similar platforms. • Establish multi-agent workflows supporting requirements generation, design, code generation, testing, and documentation. • Create scalable development patterns and reusable frameworks for application delivery. • Lead rapid MVP and proof-of-concept development initiatives. • Validate and refine concepts through iterative AI-assisted development cycles. • Develop reusable application templates, Angular component libraries, Node.js service frameworks, AI agent workflows, and prompt libraries. • Standardize architecture and development practices across teams. • Drive adoption of AI-native development practices across Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

• Participate across the entire software development lifecycle, taking features from concept to production release • Lead frontend application development using Javascript, Typescript, React, Svelte and NextJS to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and partner teams to translate business requirements into clean technical designs across both backend and frontend systems • Troubleshoot data, integration, service, and UI issues across a large distributed codebase • Develop and execute unit and integration tests • Contribute to technical documentation to improve maintainability, knowledge sharing, and team velocity • Leverage AI tooling, with a preference for Claude, to accelerate software design, architecture, and implementation while maintaining strong engineering judgment and code quality
