Maintenance Technician – Solar Monitoring System
UL Solutions
• Uphold highest level of communication as first point of contact for equipment in field • Ensure all equipment is level & clean on a weekly basis • Provide troubleshooting (w/support from UL Solutions) and when requested, repair(s) for low-medium complexity issues • Ensure there is no debris obstructing the system (depending on site/region, grass cutting, snow removal, or clearing brush) • Confirm the system is secure and hasn’t been tampered with • Each maintenance visit should take 60-90 minutes • UL Solutions requires a weekly excel logbook uploaded via internet along with photos and other documentation to support the visit which should take 45-90 minutes • The entire process is estimated to require between 2-4 hours each week, including travel time to and from site • Occasionally, UL Solutions may request your assistance in replacing or troubleshooting equipment
Job Requirements
- No solar experience is required, but is preferred
- Must be able to take instruction remotely throughout length of contract term
- Must use own transportation to and from remote SMS location (4WD/AWD preferred)
- Required to climb and work comfortably from a 6 or 8-foot ladder (provided)
- Required maintenance of equipment utilizing levels, screwdriver, and other hand tools (provided)
- Must have demonstrated computer literacy, including ability to upload attachments with their own version of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) to our SharePoint website with reliable internet
- A smart phone is required to take site photos as well as to communicate with UL Solutions' staff while on site in an event of an emergency
- A desktop computer, laptop or tablet with internet capability is required for uploading maintenance photos and updating excel maintenance logbook
- Required to treat all applicable information as confidential

• Oversee WGSN's Japanese localised content and site updates • Collaborate with Marketing, Design and Product departments to localise assets for digital publishing on WGSN product sites • Work closely with the Tech team to incorporate machine translation systems for optimising localisation workflow • Manage translated Japanese content for various verticals and brand-related marketing materials • Collaborate with internal Product and Tech teams to assist machine learning development • Manage linguistic resources: 6 glossaries and 2 style guides • Monitor content quality and implement necessary changes to improve the in-house machine translation system • Guide freelancers and part-time staff by offering instructions, constructive feedback • Report regularly on project status to localisation managers, and support communication with the Japanese commercial team
• Responsible for assisting underwriting team by reviewing conditions and completing clear to close reviews on loans. • Review and clear underwriting conditions to ensure documents provided meet the guideline requirements. • Update LOS based on documents received and ensure the doc imaging system is properly updated as well. • Print final loan documents into the file as required. • Complete Checklist while reviewing loans for clear to close. • Ensure all requirements have been satisfied prior to issuing the clear to close. • Work with closing department to resolve discrepancies between final loan approval and closing terms (i.e. PITIA, cash to close, seller credits, etc.). • Review and clear post-closing underwriting conditions to allow for timely funding or purchasing of loans. • Ensure once all information is gathered that it is accurate, compliance standards are met, and the decision is in line with company policies and guidelines. • Communicate effectively with sales, business partners (Brokers/NDC Clients), and internal team members. • Maintain company productivity, service level and turn-time standards. • Respond to audits and post-closing issues in a timely manner. • Maintain working knowledge of Non-QM, TPO and/or NDC guidelines and policies. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
