VP, Strategic Sourcing
C1
• Leads the evaluation of suppliers and work to reduce vendor risk by developing scorecards and other metrics to ensure external and internal customer satisfaction • Establishes strong relationships with suppliers and vendors • Directs the work of a strategic sourcing team dispersed throughout various geographic locations • Improves supply chain efficiency and maintains product quality standards to ensure financial targets are achieved • Monitors and advises on world political, economic, and trade issues, developing appropriate sourcing options as necessary to continuously align to corporate initiatives • Owns procurement (OEM, 3rd party spend), enterprise-wide • Drives for results (i.e., financial, service and distribution) • Manages relationships with all vendors/suppliers • Manages MOU and variable incentive plans/rebates • Sets the vision, coach and develop team
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations, or a related field
- 10+ years supply chain, procurement, logistics or operations management experience
- Proven track record of leading procurement teams in a dynamic and complex organization
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with and influence the business and functional partners (IT, Finance, HR, Legal etc.)
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Demonstrated track record of developing and implementing effective procurement strategies
- Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as understanding of standard contractual terms and conditions to mitigate legal risk
- Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills
- Deep knowledge of industry and global trends
- Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
- Ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
