Adjunct Faculty – Practicum Virtual Instructor
AAPC
• Facilitate online curriculum through Black Board platform and Practicode by AAPC • Monitor and measure student participation, attendance, and completion of cases • Record attendance • Respond to student queries and provide relevant and timely feedback • Adhere to all program faculty policies and procedures • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to process improvement efforts
Job Requirements
- AAPC Instructor credential and the CPC or COC credential
- Minimum of 3 years healthcare business experience
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (online experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, technology, communication, and time-management skills
- Past experience with Practicode is preferred.

• Answer inbound calls from patients seeking treatment • Make outbound calls to referred individuals, building rapport and sharing information about Recover's services • Follow up with prospective clients who need additional outreach or who are awaiting insurance enrollment • Confirm insurance status using verification portals • Search and manage client records in our electronic health record, creating new charts or updating existing ones as needed • Walk clients through enrollment documents and explain the sign-up process • Provide warm hand-offs to other resources when clients are not eligible for Recover's services • Schedule initial appointments based on client preferences for timing, provider, and format
• Scanning on Philips 2010 Holter system • Following protocols provided • Submitting comprehensive reports with no omissions of clinical data • Following a template for a written summary with excellent command of the English language after thorough training on our expectations and clinical procedures • Looking for clinicians with a passion for Holter scanning and evaluating arrhythmia who appreciate the rigor of detection and able to articulate in contact with clients and colleagues
