Associate Director – Commercial Data Strategies

• This position leads all business Commercial Data & Analytics strategic processes, projects and day to day operations that support the Foundational DePuy Synthes Commercial Data Environments and tool sets used to enable Organizational Analytics and Enterprise applications. • Independently determines and develops approaches and solutions. • Shares technical expertise with others and helps develop junior level data analyst. • Provide Leadership and mentorship to the associates within the Commercial Data Strategies organization. • Ensure that all team members have the necessary technical and business skills to successfully meet their business objectives. • Maintain strong working relationships with IT partners, developing their business knowledge and understanding of Commercial Data Strategies processes and capabilities. • Ensure Foundational Data technologies and business processes work and are being adjusted according to Privacy, Security and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Internal Controls, and other business regulatory requirements. • Establish / Maintain metrics to help drive process improvements around the Commercial Data Strategies data environment. • Make independent decisions and present process/policy recommendations to Commercial Data Strategies and Commercial Leadership. • Contributing to the strategic direction and execution in sourcing data to ensure optimal mix of capabilities while continually guaranteeing required levels of data quality.
Job Requirements
- Required BS, BA degree ( Business/IT related preferred), MBA or MS
- Minimum 5-8+ years’ work experience required preferable in related field
- Prior people management experience required
- Required Experience: Data Access methodologies for Sales Analytics; Contracting Systems; Compensation Systems, CRM Environments; Consistent track record of leading or mentoring teams to achieve significant quality and process improvements.
- Experience developing training materials and instructing others at all levels required.
- Strong Project/Account management and Testing Strategy skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment with tight timelines are required.
- Proven success in working with an Outsource partners and leading projects on-time and on budget is required
- Experience with Commercial Systems, Field Sales, Information Management/Information Technology, Contracting or Marketing organization
- Ability to work in a matrix reporting structure and to be part of a project team.
- Preferred Experience working as Analyst preferred.
- Experience with call center support structure / process preferred
- Experience with process improvement tools, e.g., SFE, LEAN/Six Sigma, preferred.
- Proficiency (minimal to no training needed) in query & report writing tools
- Proficiency (minimal to no training needed) with Incentive Compensation Systems (i.e SYNGY, Callidus, etc.)
- Proficiency (minimal to no training needed) in PC software (such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Windows) required.
