This is a technical, detail-oriented role responsible for clean data capture, dependable tracking architecture, and cross-platform attribution accuracy across websites, ad platforms, and CRMs. Responsibilities - Attribution Architecture and Strategy: - Maintain and evolve our multi-touch attribution framework across paid media, organic, social, website interactions, phone calls, and CRM intake workflows. - Define and enforce channel classification rules, naming conventions, and lead source hierarchies. - Partner with Paid Media, SEO, and BI teams to ensure attribution logic matches real-world channel activity for Account Managers and Project Managers. - Cross-Platform Tracking and Measurement: - GA4: - Configure conversion events, parameters, and user properties to support multi-touch attribution. - Maintain cross-domain tracking and resolve session stitching issues. - Troubleshoot UTM and traffic inconsistencies. - Paid Media (Including Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Tiktok, Yelp Ads, Programmatic Ads): - Implement and maintain platform tracking: enhanced conversions, CAPI, offline conversion imports, click IDs, and lead form tracking. - Ensure tracking alignment across platforms, GA4, and CRM systems. - Websites: - Collaborate with developers on data-layer enhancements, tagging updates, and server-side tracking setups. - Test form submissions, CTAs, button clicks, and intake pathways (both desktop and mobile). - Validate dynamic phone numbers, call tracking scripts, and funnel UX that affects attribution accuracy. - Call Tracking: - Configure CallRail numbers, source pools, routing logic, recording settings, and integrations with CRMs and ad platforms. - Validate that calls are properly attributed, tagged, and passed into CRMs and ad platforms for offline conversion uploads. - Monitor and resolve discrepancies in call tracking data versus CRM or GA4. - CRM and Intake Tracking: - Ensure attribution continuity from first touch through intake and revenue events. - Map CRM fields to channel attribution fields (source, medium, campaign, keyword, etc.). - Maintain automations for pushing/pulling lead, call, and revenue data between CRMs and ad platforms. - Audit intake workflows and troubleshoot attribution breaks inside CRM environments. - Data Flow, Automation, and Integrations: - Use Zapier and direct APIs to build reliable, fault-tolerant attribution pipelines. - Maintain automation logic for lead source stamping, multi-touch timeline enrichment, offline conversion and revenue uploads, and data synchronization across web, CRM, and advertising platforms. - Partner closely with BI and IT teams to ensure data flows match warehouse and reporting requirements. - Tracking Quality Control, Testing, and Spam Prevention: - Conduct routine testing of all lead forms, calendars, chat widgets, and mobile experience tracking. - Monitor and validate phone numbers, call routing, and dynamic number insertion. - Implement and maintain spam detection and prevention setups (CAPTCHAs, bot filters, honey pots, gating logic, blacklists). - Identify and remediate tracking breaks caused by website changes, CRM updates, ad platform changes, or automation failures. - Document testing procedures and maintain a clear log of tracking validations and failures. - Collaboration: - Work with other Attribution Specialists to maintain consistent tracking for all clients. - Work with Business Intelligence Specialists and Data Specialists to ensure data governance and data clarity are maintained. - Work with Account Managers and Project Managers to ensure we are all aligned on tracking. Requirements - This role requires substantial overlap with US Central and/or Eastern Time business hours to support collaboration and communication with team members and stakeholders. - Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a remote environment. Product Marketing - Own positioning, messaging, and segmentation across all customer segments. - Create sales enablement materials, customer-facing content, and internal training resources. - Conduct user research to inform go-to-market strategy and surface actionable market insights. - Represent Castify at conferences, events, and customer meetings. Leadership, Planning & Reporting - Lead and coach one marketing IC while remaining deeply hands-on yourself. - Use AI tooling to multiply team capacity, enabling two people to operate like many. - Establish KPIs across B2B and B2C and provide regular performance reporting. - Work with the executive team on strategic planning and market expansion into new segments. Requirements You’re perfect for this role if you: - Have driven measurable growth across both B2B SaaS and B2C consumer products. - Have thrived in early-stage or growth-stage startups (under 50 people) where you had responsibility to lead the marketing function. - Are hands-on with AI marketing tools and have deployed agents or automated workflows in a real marketing context. - Have built demand generation engines that connect marketing activity to pipeline and revenue. - Bring strong GTM partnership experience working closely with Sales. - Have deep product marketing chops: positioning, messaging, segmentation, and go-to-market execution. - Are a player-coach who sets strategy and then executes it yourself. - Have experience marketing in the Chrome Web Store (a plus). This is a Chicago-based position with 3 days a week in the office. Working at Castify We are results-focused, fast-moving, and here to change how the world communicates and learns through video. We value accountability, speed, and people who take ownership end-to-end. We love a challenge, a good problem, and teammates who bring both creativity and follow-through. Rule #1: Be a good person. Compensation The expected annual base salary for this role is anticipated to start at $165,000 with an annual performance bonus. Final compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications.
