Qualifications - Minimum of 1 year of experience in immigration law with a robust focus on immigration court cases (Motions, Removal, AOS, Notions to appear, Habeas Corpus, Detained clients). - B2-C1 proficiency in English. - Excellent legal research skills, technical document drafting, and meticulous file organization. - Assertive communication, deep empathy toward the immigrant community, excellent time management, and strict professional ethics and confidentiality. - High attention to detail, adaptability to changing legislation, and a strong teamwork orientation. • Manage a docket of active personal injury cases • Monitor case progression and proactively move cases forward • Maintain accurate case notes and documentation • Track medical treatment, records requests, and case status updates • Coordinate with clients, providers, insurance companies, and opposing counsel • Execute firm SOPs for new case intake and ongoing case handling • Assist in drafting and responding to discovery (RFPs, interrogatories, etc.) • Organize and review medical records and litigation documents • Support deposition and trial preparation • Draft routine legal correspondence and pleadings • Monitor litigation deadlines, court requirements, and filings
