JOC Coordinator

Role Description The JOC Coordinator serves as a key liaison between the regional Operations team and Accounts Receivable/Revenue teams, ensuring accurate and timely revenue recognition and invoicing. - Leverage the Smartsheets application to track teams’ jobs orders and revenue recognition status in the Revenue Tracker. - Ensure accurate posting of job orders in the Billing Document Review platform (BDR) for revenue recognition. - Work within Gordian’s internal source systems (eGordian and JOC Cloud) to ensure job order documentation is complete and accurate. - Oversee completion of monthly check-in with clients & contractors to obtain updated statuses on open projects. Report on aging of unbilled revenue. - Develop strong relationship with internal operations customers (Regional Directors, Account Managers, etc.) to follow/improve processes and remove barriers for strong revenue recognition performance. - Manage error resolution and revenue reconciliation in a timely manner to ensure revenue recognition by end-of-month deadlines. - Work with Revenue team to resolve any errors that would prevent entry into NetSuite. - Coordinate with IT to resolve system issues in a timely manner. - This role requires increased availability during the final week of each month (especially final day of the month), which may include working later hours to meet business deadlines. Qualifications - Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred. - Intermediate experience with Excel and proficiency in MS Office including Teams, Word, and Outlook. - Experience with various financial and operational systems a plus. - Excellent customer service skills along with strong verbal and written communication skills. - Detail oriented with strong analytical skills. - Self-motivated with ability to complete assignments with limited supervision and ability to meet deadlines and prioritize responsibilities. - Proven experience as a team player and ability to work with a diverse group of people. - Ability to function well in multiple reporting/supporting relationships. - Previous construction industry experience a plus. Core Responsibilities Media and Public Relations - Oversee and execute SPUR’s press and media engagement, including creating press releases and proactively reaching out to press contacts to highlight SPUR's policy insights and research findings. - Craft talking points, media statements, and response plans in close partnership with leadership for rapid response external communications. - Utilize strong judgment in time-sensitive messaging, balancing speed with precision. - Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of public relations efforts with overall organizational goals, including close coordination with SPUR's Policy, Engagement, and Development teams. - Monitor policy and advocacy issues, news events, and legislative cycles to ensure responsive storytelling that adapts to changing circumstances and external events. Communications - In collaboration with the CEO, CPO, and CAO, proactively identify, build, and deploy integrated, multi-channel communications campaign strategies to promote and advance select policy initiatives. - Implement SPUR’s communications plan to broaden awareness and break through echo chambers. - Use various marketing channels (e.g., email and print marketing, social media, events, digital ads) to promote our organization, increase awareness of our mission and programs, and advance SPUR's policy insights. - Collaborate in drafting, editing, and/or proofing emails, web content, digital newsletters, social media posts, donor-facing communications, and other marketing collateral. - Partner with Engagement and Development staff to design communications that strengthen donor stewardship and drive fundraising goals. - Utilize SPUR’s mass marketing platform, Pardot, to deliver digital communications. - Track and report on performance of digital marketing and communications efforts. - Ensure SPUR’s brand message is strong and consistent across all channels. - Manage the organization-wide external communications calendar.
