Role Description The Talent and Learning Manager plays a critical role in building organizational capability, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement through scalable, high-impact learning and talent programs. With an emphasis on learning and development for Tropicana corporate employees, you’ll be responsible for designing, rolling out, and continuously improving year-over-year development programs that enable high performing teams and support business strategies. - Design, implement, and sustain multi-year learning and development programs that build organizational capability, manager effectiveness, and leadership strength, ensuring measurable impact year over year. - Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise and functional learning initiatives, including needs assessment, curriculum design, facilitation, evaluation, and continuous improvement. - Organize, coordinate, and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning experiences for individual contributors, managers, and senior leaders. - Develop and deliver leadership development and manager effectiveness programs, including first-time manager training, foundational people leadership curricula, and advanced leadership workshops. - Apply strong project management discipline to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives, developing project plans, timelines, governance models, and scalable toolkits to support consistent execution. - Oversee multiple initiatives concurrently, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and resource needs, while tracking outcomes and communicating progress and impact to senior stakeholders. - Partner with internal leaders, HR business partners, and subject matter experts to design relevant, business-aligned learning content and targeted development solutions. - Support talent management processes including performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, and development planning for high-potential and critical-role populations. - Develop and facilitate programs that strengthen manager effectiveness, team performance, collaboration, accountability, and trust across the organization. - Support leaders in translating enterprise strategy into clear team goals, role clarity, and performance expectations. - Partner with HR and business leaders on employee engagement initiatives, including administering and interpreting pulse surveys, facilitating leader discussions, and translating insights into actionable plans that drive measurable improvements. - Consult with leaders to diagnose organizational challenges and recommend learning- and development-focused interventions that improve effectiveness, engagement, and performance. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, Education, Business, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Effectiveness, with a strong L&D focus. - Proven experience designing and sustaining year-over-year learning programs. - Demonstrated success organizing, facilitating, and delivering training for managers and senior leaders. - Strong project management and stakeholder-management capabilities. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills. - Experience working in a matrixed, fast-paced environment preferred. - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future. - Must be located in Chicago, IL or surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment (or remote, as applicable). - Travel up to 10% to other Tropicana locations, as needed.
