Role Description Ulteig is currently seeking talented and motivated Senior Engineer level candidates to join our Transmission Line team. This position is responsible for the design of High Voltage (69kV-500kV) transmission lines utilizing the PLS-CADD software. This position is open to sit in any location or remote. The ideal candidate has excellent problem solving skills and will: - Use advanced techniques, theory, precepts, and practices to complete complex project assignments. - Adapt and modify standard techniques to solve multifaceted problems. - Provide expert consultation for the design, development, and implementation of technical plans and systems used in the construction of high voltage transmission lines. - Facilitate collaboration between other disciplines and project team members. - Act as client contact to determine the project scope and understand their requirements. - Develop construction documents for the transmission line. - Coordinate specific design aspects of projects, estimating construction costs, and specifying materials. Qualifications - A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school. - Minimum of 10 years’ engineering experience is required, with 8 years of Transmission Line Engineering or related experience. - PE license required. - Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred. - Previous experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred. - Maintains positive client relationships. - Independently completes assigned tasks. - Actively manages individual workload. - Effectively assists in training and mentoring team members. - Responsible for reviewing project drawings, calculations & specifications. - Demonstrate wide degree of creativity and latitude. - Collaborate with multi-discipline team to ensure project success. - Must be analytical, self-motivated, and possess the ability to work in a team environment. - Excellent presentation and verbal/written communications skills. - Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, clients, and external agencies. - Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access) and AutoCAD is preferred. - Proficiency in MFAD/LPILE is preferred. - Highly driven toward team success and professional growth. - Ability and drive to mentor less experienced engineers. - Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement. - Must have authorization to work permanently in the US. • Responsible for the design of High Voltage (69kV-500kV) transmission lines utilizing the PLS-CADD software • Facilitate collaboration between other disciplines and project team members • Act as client contact to determine the project scope and understand their requirements • Development of construction documents for the transmission line • Final deliverables will include project design criteria, plan and profile drawings, structure framing and loading drawings, assembly drawings, structure foundation drawings and construction specifications • Coordinate specific design aspects of projects, estimating construction costs, and specify materials

• Perform on-site installations, repairs, maintenance, qualifications, and validations of Chromatography systems • Proficiently use customer management software to complete service calls, handle parts inventories, and complete job tasks • Evaluate examination and assessment results to identify the origin of the issue, and suggest fixing, substitution, or alternative remedial measures • Coordinate problem resolution with engineering, customer service, and other personnel to expedite repairs • Analyze Chemistry reports of technical problems to recommend modifications to eliminate future issues • Provide a communication link between the customer and the company to ensure effective service • Develop and conduct training on safe operations of the equipment and demonstrate skills to trainees

• Serve as the senior technology point of contact for assigned clients, owning the relationship at the strategic level. • Lead discovery conversations to understand client business goals, existing technology investments, and emerging needs. • Translate complex technical topics into clear guidance appropriate for non-technical stakeholders and executive audiences. • Represent Sentinel Blue on client calls with credibility, clarity, and a consultative approach. • Engage clients on technology requests and questions that fall outside standard managed service scope, including specialized platforms, line-of-business applications, and bespoke infrastructure needs. • Assess unfamiliar systems and platforms quickly, understanding hosting requirements, integration dependencies, security posture, and compliance implications even without deep prior experience with the specific tool. • Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot infrastructure and applications as part of client engagements, including standing up servers, modifying system configurations, and resolving application-level issues. • Provide guidance aligned with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and CIS Controls as applicable to client context. • Identify gaps, risks, and remediation priorities across client environments and communicate them clearly. • Help clients evaluate vendor proposals and technology investments, including RFP support, contract review from a technical lens, and total cost of ownership analysis. • Assess vendor security posture, SLA commitments, and integration readiness in the context of the client's environment. • Produce clear client-facing deliverables including assessments, roadmaps, briefing documents, and recommendation reports. • Collaborate with internal IT Operations, SOC, and GRC teams to route client needs to the right delivery function. • Contribute to internal knowledge by documenting patterns, assessments, and guidance for recurring client scenarios.
