Role Description This position is responsible for reporting and analytics for revenue cycle operations, focused on developing new analytics and reporting to support performance monitoring and improvement within revenue cycle operations. Essential Functions - Develop and implement data models and analytics to enhance Revenue Cycle operations. - Directs and leads a team to deliver high value solutions for performance monitoring that drives strong performance and improvement in revenue cycle operations. - Provide accurate and actionable reporting by utilizing multiple techniques to analyze large data sets. - Manage the revenue analytics tool and work to ensure proper training of staff and external stakeholders of the tool. - Analyze results, communicate findings and make recommendations to Revenue Cycle stakeholders. - Use Revenue Cycle experience to anticipate revenue cycle questions, needs and gaps, and proactively identify and implement solutions. - Perform all aspects of analysis including: data acquisition and data management, advanced data visualization, quantitative and qualitative data analysis. - Maintain proficiencies and expertise in data applications, business software, and reporting tools that include Google Suite, Microsoft SQL server, Epic Clarity. - Consolidate data from numerous sources into meaningful analytics. - Collaborate with cross functional teams and leaders to ensure strategic alignment and high quality outcomes. - Design and develop appropriate processes and procedures to ensure proactive data quality monitoring. - Evaluate existing processes and develop digital solutions to reduce manual work, drive self-service while enhancing analytic capabilities. - Perform ad-hoc deep-dive analytics to understand results and opportunities as needed. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree. - A minimum of 10 years of finance, revenue cycle and/or information systems experience within the healthcare industry (required). - Minimum 5 years of management experience. - Experience leading implementations and 3+ years of project management experience.
