Implementation Engineer

EngFlow

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for trialing, new, and existing customers—offering guidance as they adopt and scale our platform. • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve complex issues with build systems, integrations, and environments. • Help customers optimize their use of EngFlow’s products and ensure smooth adoption within their developer workflows. • Partner with Engineering to surface and track product bugs, performance regressions, and feature feedback from the field. • Create and maintain internal and external documentation to improve future support and empower developers. • Engage with the broader community via forums, Slack, GitHub, and conferences—representing EngFlow’s voice with empathy and technical clarity. • Contribute to a culture of operational excellence through metrics, tooling improvements, and automation.

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, technical support, SRE, or developer-facing roles
  • Strong understanding of developer workflows and build systems (experience with Bazel or Buck/Buck2 is a big plus)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, C++, Java, Python, Rust, or JavaScript)
  • Comfortable in a Linux/Unix environment with experience in tools like Docker, Terraform, or Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud provider (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, or OpenShift)
  • Great communicator—able to explain complex technical concepts clearly in writing and on calls
  • Experience writing or contributing to technical documentation or internal knowledge bases
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping engineers solve tough problems
  • Bonus: experience working with async communication and distributed teams
