Job Description
Associate Integration Engineer
WVU Medicine
• Responsible for the design and development of integrated solutions to connect various systems • Configuration, customization, testing, validation, and support of those solutions • Integration of software, hardware, and network systems to create cohesive and functional integrated systems within the organization • Assists in the management of daily production issues • Executes test scripts and ensures thorough documentation of issues and requests • Diagnoses and intervenes to resolve unplanned system outages swiftly • May facilitate training sessions to share technical knowledge and best practices • Coordinates vendor calls and develops test plans aligned with the entire workflow and health system • Identify and engage key stakeholders across various business units to understand their specific needs and objectives • Create and maintain documentation that includes design specifications and technical standards
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, computer science, business, informatics, or related field
- High School Diploma AND Four (4) years of experience in Epic Integrations, Workday Integrations, or Software Development accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
- Familiarity in HL7, FHIR, X12, Epic Bridges, Workday BIRT Reporting, IRIS/MUMPS, XML, JSON, XSLT, Integration Engines, Workday Studio, Windows and Linux operating systems, API and Web Services, database development including SQL, network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, sFTP, etc), and Object-Oriented Programming languages such as Java, C#
