• Ensure GAAP-compliant accounting practices • Own the monthly and annual close processes with accuracy and timeliness • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements • Partner with executive leadership by developing management reports such as: P&L by product / service, Gross margin by practice, Utilization and delivery margin, Variance analysis • Identify, design, and implement internal controls and scalable processes across AP, AR, collections, cash management, and administration • Create, maintain, and execute standard accounting policies and procedures • Streamline close timeline to 5 business days or less • Support audits and complete audit request responses • Own accounting systems setup, integrity, and optimization • Drive improvements in financial systems, including workflow automations

Job Requirements

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
  • Public accounting experience (Big 4 or reputable regional firm) required
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong technical understanding of US GAAP
  • Demonstrated experience leading a month end close process
  • Self-starter, interested in building processes from the ground up and supporting strategic decision-making
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
  • Experience with mid-market accounting systems, Sage Intacct preferred
  • Familiarity with multi-entity environments in acquisitive, private equity-backed organizations preferred
