Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program - 9+ years working as an engineer in a related field - Strong oral and written communication skills - Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multi-functional teams - Demonstrated ability to learn and work independently - Effective time management - Ability to travel to suppliers (~10-25%) Requirements - Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): - Industry Experience: Prior experience in the aircraft/aerospace industry focusing on aerostructure materials, processes, and standards. Focus on composite processing, manufacturing and inspection preferred. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD tools such as Catia V5/6, Enovia, PASS, PDMLink, along with Project Planning (MS Project), Engineering Resource Planning Tools (SAP/cERP/gPLM), and standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Visio). - Advanced Education or Experience: A Master's degree in Chemical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred. Alternatively, a minimum of five years of direct technical experience in aircraft/aerospace engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Process Improvement: Training or certification in Lean or Six Sigma. Role overview As a Junior RAN Test Engineer, you will join Ericsson's RAN Test team and help make sure our 4G/5G Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions work as expected before they go into live customer networks. This is an early-career role for recent graduates, with clear structure, support and mentoring to help you build confidence in mobile networks, test methods and automation at a steady pace. You'll start by learning the basics and contributing to real project work alongside experienced Integration Engineers, Network Engineers and Test Managers. The role is a good fit if you enjoy understanding how things work, solving problems in a practical way and are curious about mobile networks, software/systems testing and automation/AI. Over time, you can grow towards roles such as Integration Engineer, Network Engineer or Test Specialist within Ericsson. What you will do In your first months, the focus is on learning and getting comfortable with our tools and ways of working. Gradually, you'll take on more responsibility as your confidence grows.
