Work on exciting projects, future-proof your skills, and grow into your dream job alongside some of the most talented, knowledgeable, and dedicated technologists in the industry. - Work in a team with other smart employees using cutting edge technologies to solve challenging business problems - Build elegant, scalable, extensible, cost-effective solutions with an eye towards innovation and agility - Utilize problem-solving and decision-making skills to understand client pain points and to self-troubleshoot as challenges arise - Collaborate with other members of the development team and project managers to deliver solutions that surpass client expectations while meeting deadlines and budgets - Work in an agile environment with participation in daily stand-ups/scrum - Design, write, test, troubleshoot, and document application code - Learn new technologies and be aware of industry standards, best practices, and trends Qualifications - Strong knowledge and experience of GIS mapping and specifically ESRI ArcGIS. - Must have 15+ years Application Development Experience. - Must have 7+ years in designing and building new applications using ESRI ArcGIS on Python stack. - App development experience using Python/ArcPy and ArcGIS APIs and SDK and ability to configure ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise. - Knowledge of RDBMS and ability to write queries/SPs. - Be able to work with Product Owners and SAs to build/drive a product roadmap. - Strong familiarity with Azure services and Agile methodologies for solutions deployment with the Azure Cloud Platform. - Experience in ArcGIS Enterprise deployment, ArcGIS Server, extensions and Portal for ArcGIS. - Experience in upgrading ArcGIS software to latest versions following ESRI standards and internal security policies. - Experience configuring and maintaining ArcGIS License manager. - Experience in installing and maintaining ArcGIS Enterprise infrastructure. - Experienced in modifying and updating ArcGIS deployments with Chef and Cloud Formation Templates. - Experience in securing and maintaining the site using firewalls and ports, server certificates, and adhering to enterprise security policies. - Experience with ArcGIS workflow automation tools like Python API for ArcGIS and WebGISDR tools. Role Description About the Wildfire Program: RLF’s Wildfire program supports policy change and increased public funding for wildfire resilience in communities and ecosystems across the Western United States. Our program engages in grantmaking, coalition-building, policy development, advocacy, and capacity-building. We work at the federal level and in California, Washington, Colorado, and Montana. The Position: We are seeking a Program Manager to provide programmatic support across RLF’s wildfire resilience initiatives in Washington and California. Program Manager duties span a range of activities, including: - Implementing projects to support wildfire advocacy initiatives - Coalition participation and management - Grants and contracts administration - Creating communications materials - Coordinating meetings and convenings - Supporting program and strategic plan implementation This position reports directly to the Program Officer based in Washington State and will also provide direct support to the Program Officer in California. This role will closely coordinate with another Program Manager who leads overall Wildfire Program Management and Development. This role is remote with a preference for candidates located in the Pacific Time Zone. The Program Manager will be required to travel domestically to attend programmatic and team meetings and events (primarily in Washington and California) at least once a month.
