Lead Technical Program Manager, Corporate IT

IonQ

• oversee the full spectrum of IT initiatives by overseeing high-impact programs in identity and access management (IAM), mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and artificial intelligence (AI) • act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, communicating progress, risks, and timelines effectively • manage the IT aspects of M&A, including integrating IT systems, networks, and applications of newly acquired companies • define project scopes, create detailed project plans, manage resources, and track progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget • define and implement a comprehensive IT project intake process to align new initiatives with strategic business objectives and manage the department's portfolio • identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success • manage relationships with external vendors and contractors and oversee project budgets • provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring solutions align with corporate IT standards and goals • create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical requirements, project plans, and status reports

Job Requirements

  • proven experience as a technical project manager within a corporate IT setting
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Information Technology or Computer Science. Certifications like a Project Management Professional (PMP) will make your application stand out
  • strong grasp of corporate IT infrastructure, including concepts like networking, servers, cloud services, and security protocols
  • excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. You're able to handle pressure and manage multiple projects at once
  • comfortable managing projects with shifting requirements and priorities

Role Description About the Wildfire Program: RLF’s Wildfire program supports policy change and increased public funding for wildfire resilience in communities and ecosystems across the Western United States. Our program engages in grantmaking, coalition-building, policy development, advocacy, and capacity-building. We work at the federal level and in California, Washington, Colorado, and Montana. The Position: We are seeking a Program Manager to provide programmatic support across RLF’s wildfire resilience initiatives in Washington and California. Program Manager duties span a range of activities, including: - Implementing projects to support wildfire advocacy initiatives - Coalition participation and management - Grants and contracts administration - Creating communications materials - Coordinating meetings and convenings - Supporting program and strategic plan implementation This position reports directly to the Program Officer based in Washington State and will also provide direct support to the Program Officer in California. This role will closely coordinate with another Program Manager who leads overall Wildfire Program Management and Development. This role is remote with a preference for candidates located in the Pacific Time Zone. The Program Manager will be required to travel domestically to attend programmatic and team meetings and events (primarily in Washington and California) at least once a month. This is a full-time, exempt position. Qualifications - Expertise (3+ years) in western wildfire resilience, conservation, climate change, or related fields - Commitment to and interest in learning policy development and advocacy skills - Comfortable and eager to work within a complex policy, stakeholder, and political space - Commitment and ability to quickly develop expertise on community risk reduction and land management aspects of wildfire resilience - Strong work ethic, good judgment, attention to detail, and a consistent commitment to thoroughness and quality - Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborate well with others - Exceptional project management and organizational skills - Creative and flexible self-starter who can anticipate and respond to rapidly changing priorities - Aptitude for implementing programmatic processes aligned with organizational policies and procedures - Demonstrated experience managing and organizing extensive documentation and written information - Outstanding editing skills with a critical eye for grammar, punctuation, and syntax Requirements - Ability to plan, coordinate, and facilitate meetings - Experience planning and executing larger meetings (75+) a plus - Ability to develop timelines and track milestones - Experience with administering or managing grants or contracts is a plus - Comfort with identifying solutions to complex problems - Ability to analyze and synthesize information from multiple sources into a cohesive written product Benefits - Starting salary: $92,000 - $107,000, commensurate with related work experience and qualifications - Alternate Fridays off work schedule - Comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, and vision insurance - 401k plan with a 5% match - Generous paid time off - Technology allowance - Student loan repayment assistance - Mental health benefits - Approximately 16 paid holidays per year To Apply Please provide a resume and cover letter explaining how your skills fit this position.
