Job Description

Medicaid Claims Data Entry Associate

Conduent

• Accurately input claim data into claims processing systems • Review documents for completeness and accuracy before data entry • Identify and flag incomplete or incorrect information for follow-up • Maintain high productivity while meeting quality standards • Follow established procedures and guidelines for claim submissions • Communicate with team members or supervisors about any issues or discrepancies • Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion • Comply with data integrity and security policies • Perform other clerical or administrative tasks as needed

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or an equivalent level of education; some college preferred
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft
  • Ability to type at least 30 WPM (words per minute); prefer 40 WPM
  • Have an ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers, clients, and providers
  • Have attention to detail, grammar, and spelling accuracy skill set
  • Be able to successfully pass a pre-employment screening

As a Data Specialist, you will be responsible for working with our customer data and various activities (e.g. migration, installation, cleaning, analysis, updates). You will work with multiple data-sources, including practice management systems, databases and flat-files. You will work on various projects, including data migration, analysis, updates and transformation. You will take ownership of each project and liaise with the end users to ensure successful completion. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: - Processing of data from a range of source systems to target systems - Data analysis, data collection and cleaning - Data conversion integrity and verification - Liaison with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle (data validation checks etc.) ensuring requirements are captured and met - Create and maintain data pipelines - Assist other technical teams on database optimisation Other Duties: - Provide assistance to technical teams to resolve data related issues - Work with other departments to improve processes where data is involved - Remote monitoring & diagnostics of data pipelines - Work with technical teams on data backup, maintenance and processing - Ability to work flexibly including evening and weekends where required - Understand and comply with job relevant company practice standards at all times. - Understand and work with the standard operating procedures - Attend training sessions as appropriate.
