Role Description Compass Healthcare, a leading division of Compass Group North America, is seeking a multidimensional and results-driven VP of GPO Relations. This role is crucial in retaining market share, driving profitable market growth, and improving distributor, consultant and GPO interactions affiliated with Compass Healthcare accounts. Key Responsibilities - Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with our partner GPOs, Clients and Operators through effective communication and project management. - Resource Allocation: Identify and mobilize the vital resources to support new business initiatives and ensure project success. - Time Management: Demonstrate the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively to meet and exceed goals. - Goal Achievement: Consistently surpass team goals and sales targets, driving exceptional performance. - Communication: Exhibit high energy, positivity, and excellent communication skills for presentations and interpersonal interactions. - Teamwork: Partner with operational teams and sales colleagues to drive new business and support client retention efforts. - Strategic Growth: Aggressively pursue new revenue streams and strategic initiatives while ensuring strong profitability. Qualifications - Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Support Services (EVS, Facility Maintenance, Clinical Engineering, Patient Transport), and other Healthcare support service operations, third party consultants and benchmarking, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), affiliates, and aggregation groups. - Experience: Minimum of seven years of experience in healthcare support service operations or GPO consulting with a proven track record of exceeding goals. - Expertise: Understanding of support service fundamentals, healthcare support service consultants and benchmarking tools, and support services management operations. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM database management and strong digital literacy. - Professionalism: Ability to represent Compass Healthcare at industry events and demonstrate executive presence and integrity. - Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 25% nationally as the need arises. - Team Spirit: A collaborative great teammate eager to chip in to the success of a top-tier healthcare services organization.
