• This is not a role for someone who simply executes mockups. • We are looking for a designer who can evaluate what has already been built, understand the business and customer requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and present thoughtful design solutions. • You will work directly with the founders, engineers, and customers to create intuitive workflows and enterprise-grade user experiences that make complex data and operational processes easy to understand and act upon. • Help define design principles and standards across the platform • Design end-to-end user journeys and workflows • Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes • Conduct usability reviews and recommend improvements • Simplify complex operational and analytical workflows into intuitive experiences • Create and maintain scalable design systems in Figma

• Own and guide the design strategy for Jasper, setting the vision for how enterprise marketing teams will work with AI and making the design calls that shape where the product and company go • Maintain the highest standards of visual and interaction design across the product. Set and raise the bar on every surface, holding the line on polish and consistency that enterprise customers paying six and seven figures expect • Lead a small, high-velocity design team as a player-coach — coaching and upleveling designers while staying deeply hands-on, prototyping and vibe coding with tools like Cursor and Claude Code and shipping real work to production • As a member of the EPD leadership team, work alongside Product and Engineering leaders to keep evolving how Jasper builds software with AI • Accelerate, innovate, and define AI-first ways of designing and AI-first design-to-front-end pipelines, pioneering how prototypes go from concept to working, production-ready code • Extend Jasper's design system and the context and skills our coding agents rely on • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to define the problems worth solving and shape roadmaps that deliver on customer outcomes • Build a high-trust, inclusive, feedback-driven design culture that values autonomy, learning, and accountability • Establish and run the team's craft rituals — design critiques and reviews — that elevate quality and develop designers • Coach and support designers in their career growth, fostering both craft and leadership development • Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and scaling the design organization as the team grows

• Develop a deep understanding of Sonatype’s multi-product developer platform, personas, and core *jobs to be done*. • Work closely with PMs and engineers to co-create user flows and experience direction — UX leads the thinking, but the outputs are created and iterated on together, not in isolation. • Map complex IA, developer workflows, permissions models, and multi-product interactions into clear, intuitive experience patterns. • Create user and product flows in Miro that reflect real constraints, technical realities, and team input. • Shape conceptual designs and UX architectures for new features and continuous, iterative improvements — not large-scale redesigns. • Build coded UX prototypes using Claude Code, VS Code, GitHub workflows, and front-end fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JS/React). These prototypes behave like real product experiences. • Ensure your prototypes are structured enough that AI tools can generate engineering specs, scope definitions, and implementation requirements directly from your code diffs. • Conduct lightweight, practical research (interviews, surveys, UAT, quick validation) when needed — and know when to proceed without research to keep momentum. • Collaborate early and often to align constraints, scope, design direction, and technical feasibility.

• Lead needs analyses and performance consulting conversations with business stakeholders • Define learning strategy, objectives, and success metrics aligned to business outcomes • Write high-quality scripts, storyboards, facilitator guides, and workbooks that are clear and on brand • Apply adult learning principles (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy) to structure content effectively • Design end to end learning journeys for onboarding, leadership, and skills programmes • Present learning proposals and program recommendations to L&D and HR Leadership • Lead SME engagement: facilitate content workshops, manage feedback cycles, and maintain stakeholder alignment • Evaluate programme impact using Kirkpatrick or similar frameworks; report findings in plain, executive ready language • Lead development of complex interactive courses in Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, helping to mentor other team members in quality and knowledge • Package and publish SCORM/xAPI-compliant modules; own LMS configuration and troubleshooting • Produce and direct supporting assets — graphics, screen recordings, animations, and short-form video to a polished standard • Establish and maintain QA processes and development standards across the L&D team • Own reporting on course effectiveness and translate into clear recommendations for improvement
