Engineering Technician II

• Perform field and on-site laboratory tests on soil, geosynthetics, aggregates, and other materials • Monitor contractor activities on job sites to ensure compliance with relevant contract documents • Provide CQA observation and monitoring on several types of construction and/or environmental activities • Perform multi-media sampling in support of investigations and monitoring programs • Prepare daily and weekly field reports, construction schedules & progress reports • Ensure project documentation is correct and consistent with company policy • Interact with project personnel and assist in cultivating an integrated team approach • Assist in the preparation of final data packages, health and safety documents, and report appendices • Observe and abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the site-specific project health and safety plans • Perform tasks in other company practice areas including general construction services and environmental sampling as needed
Job Requirements
- High school diploma and minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience or an associate degree from a two-year college
- Technical experience in construction services, geotechnical, environmental, or related engineering disciplines (preferred)
- Experience ensuring field activities comply with construction plans and specifications (preferred)
- Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings, including survey and topographical drawings (preferred)
- Experience with industry typical monitoring and data collection equipment (preferred)
- Experience with multi-media sampling including soil, water, and air (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word software programs (required)
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide in all units of measure (required)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team (required)
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 49 pounds unaided and 50-100 pounds with assistance (required)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and satisfactory driving record (required)

• Support ServiceNow-based application operations, incident analysis, request fulfillment, and enhancement documentation. • Respond to reported application incidents, performing investigation, troubleshooting, and providing effective customer-facing resolutions. • Identify root causes of reported issues and document defects within the ServiceNow ITSM environment to support long-term corrective action. • Escalate complex or recurring application issues to Tier 2 development or engineering teams as required. • Serve as the initial point of contact for application-related support requests; log, track, and update all tickets within ServiceNow. • Fulfill user requests such as access provisioning, permission changes, and application usage guidance within ServiceNow. • Communicate with users to guide them through system workflows and provide follow-up communication to ensure full resolution and customer satisfaction. • Analyze customer needs to elaborate, refine, and document enhancement requests within ServiceNow as Enhancement Records. • Participate in Agile user story grooming sessions to help convert enhancement requests into documented requirements suitable for development. • When qualified, implement approved configuration changes or minor updates to the ServiceNow platform in coordination with senior development staff.
