Regional Sales Manager

Greenheck Group

• Travel to visit representatives in assigned region for trainings, meetings, events, and overall relationship building • Participate in the coordination of on-site and external customer visits and representative trainings within the designated sales region • Participate in customer dinners, product trainings, and other events which will include some evenings and weekends • Support other Regional Managers as needed during customer visits • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to improve performance and effectiveness of assigned representatives • Develop, communicate, and manage sales targets with assigned representatives • Analyze the performance of assigned representatives, provide feedback, and address poor performance • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and onboarding of new representatives • Provide feedback to the appropriate business units on market and product opportunities • Maintain familiarity with competitor's products, pricing, promotion, and placement in the market • Participate in and support marketing programs to promote products and create value-added services • Collaborate with the sales support team as needed • Confidently deliver engaging, in-person presentations to internal and external audiences

Job Requirements

  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the HVAC industry or other technical fields
  • Ability to make technical and non-technical presentations in front of large groups
  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field of study or equivalent years of job experience

Role Description The Contract Sales Director is responsible for the development and execution of the Contract Sales & Innovation Strategy for assigned Contract accounts to successfully sell and promote Company product innovation, industry leadership, and capabilities. This position is also responsible for developing the customer’s diverse touch points (purchasing, product development, global sourcing, packaging, etc.) with the goal of strengthening relationships while improving the planning process. - Deliver assigned sales objectives and plans. - Grow assigned contract accounts through new department and category growth initiatives. - Strengthen assigned contract accounts’ e-commerce penetration and online content quality metrics. - Create new items and promotional plans with assigned contract accounts and other e-commerce opportunities. - Act as the direct sales contact for day-to-day business. - Develop consultative customer relationships and communicate customer business issues as indicated. - Identify and develop growth opportunities for strategic accounts. - Create and present customer business overviews to identify key new item opportunities. - Work in tandem with product management to secure new business opportunities. - Own and oversee M.A.P.S.
