Role Description The Contract Sales Director is responsible for the development and execution of the Contract Sales & Innovation Strategy for assigned Contract accounts to successfully sell and promote Company product innovation, industry leadership, and capabilities. This position is also responsible for developing the customer’s diverse touch points (purchasing, product development, global sourcing, packaging, etc.) with the goal of strengthening relationships while improving the planning process. - Deliver assigned sales objectives and plans. - Grow assigned contract accounts through new department and category growth initiatives. - Strengthen assigned contract accounts’ e-commerce penetration and online content quality metrics. - Create new items and promotional plans with assigned contract accounts and other e-commerce opportunities. - Act as the direct sales contact for day-to-day business. - Develop consultative customer relationships and communicate customer business issues as indicated. - Identify and develop growth opportunities for strategic accounts. - Create and present customer business overviews to identify key new item opportunities. - Work in tandem with product management to secure new business opportunities. - Own and oversee M.A.P.S.
