Role Description Dayforce is currently seeking a Bilingual Payroll Specialist III (English/French) to join our Dayforce Managed team. We support large enterprise clients by managing critical aspects of the employee lifecycle, including payroll, workforce management, benefits, and contact center services, allowing our clients to focus on their core business. The ideal candidate will bring significant payroll expertise, strong knowledge of benefits, workforce management, and taxation, and the ability to work directly with clients to resolve complex issues while delivering exceptional service. - Ensure all aspects of the payroll cycle, including taxes, benefits, garnishments, and related activities, are processed, reconciled, audited, and transmitted accurately and on time. - Process payroll changes, tax forms, payments, and payroll transactions accurately for assigned clients. - Perform quality control and auditing activities to ensure accuracy and minimize errors. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payroll matters and employee inquiries. - Provide payroll support services in accordance with contractual obligations, legislative requirements, and business needs. - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer requirements and evolving needs to ensure service excellence and compliance with SLAs. - Create, update, and review standard operating procedures and complete quarterly documentation reviews. - Take ownership of deliverables and projects from initiation through completion. - Manage client and employee-related tasks within the case management system, ensuring complete and accurate documentation. - Proactively manage quarter-end and year-end payroll processing and audit activities. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to operational efficiencies. - Support clients through complex payroll scenarios while maintaining exceptional customer service. Qualifications - Availability to support shifts within operating hours between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., including flexibility to adjust schedules based on client needs. - 3+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience in a high-volume payroll environment (500+ employees). - Bilingual proficiency in English and French. - Experience within payroll outsourcing or payroll consulting environments preferred. - Strong understanding of payroll, benefits administration, taxation, and applicable legislative requirements. - Ability to resolve client issues and provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, intermediate Excel, and PowerPoint. Requirements - Experience with Dayforce HCM or similar cloud-based payroll technology. - Multi-client payroll processing experience. - Experience processing payroll for enterprise organizations with 2,000+ employees. - Industry certifications or a willingness to obtain them within two years of employment. - Strong understanding of quality control and auditing standards. - Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development. - Proven ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities - Process end-to-end payroll for U.S.-based employees on a weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly basis. - Ensure accurate calculation and processing of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and garnishments. - Review and validate payroll data for completeness and accuracy prior to payroll submission. - Manage payroll adjustments, off-cycle payments, retroactive pay, and final pay calculations. - Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Benefits teams to ensure employee records are maintained accurately. - Reconcile payroll reports and investigate discrepancies. - Support payroll audits and maintain payroll documentation. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. - Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing and tax reporting. - Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues in a timely manner. Compliance & Reporting - Generate and analyze payroll reports for management and regulatory requirements. - Monitor payroll compliance with company policies and applicable laws. - Support SOX, internal, and external audits. - Recommend process improvements to enhance payroll accuracy and operational efficiency. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field. - 5+ years of experience processing U.S. payroll. - Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations, taxation, and wage/hour compliance. - Experience with payroll platforms such as ADP, Workday, UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, Paychex, or similar systems. - Hands-on experience with Active Directory user administration. - Experience managing system access, permissions, and user lifecycle activities. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis. - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. - Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. - Willing to work US Hours. - Willing to work fully remote.
