• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a designated book of clients, managing their insurance needs with minimal oversight. • Lead the renewal and remarketing process, coordinating with carriers to secure optimal coverage and pricing. • Provide consultative guidance to clients on coverage gaps, policy structures, and strategic insurance decisions. • Oversee onboarding of new accounts, including collection and analysis of underwriting data. • Troubleshoot complex client issues, working with underwriters and internal teams to resolve problems efficiently. • Manage endorsements, claims inquiries, audits, and other service items with high attention to detail. • Utilize AMS360 to maintain comprehensive, accurate client records and document all servicing activities. • Mentor or support more junior account team members as needed. • Stay informed on industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes impacting clients.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in insurance account management, preferably in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health lines.
- Proven ability to manage a book of business and build long-term client relationships.
- Strong understanding of carrier underwriting guidelines and coverage forms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in AMS360 or comparable agency management systems.
- Active insurance license(s) in applicable lines (P&C and/or L&H) required.
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
