Role Description We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join the Carlisle HVAC team in the western portion of the United States. - Travel by airplane or rental car. - Scheduling of appointments. - Conduct training sessions for distributors and fabrication shops. - Promote CHVAC’s features and benefits. - Promote our bundling strategies. - Support policy deployment and non-policy deployment projects. - Completion of monthly reports via present-day electronic means. - Telephone assistance for technical questions presented by CHVAC applicators. - Answering telephone calls from outside parties regarding project specifications and warranty requirements. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree - Associate Degree and two years roofing or construction experience (equivalency) - Mechanical aptitude - Language: English – Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish preferred) Requirements - Essential Full Performance Knowledge: - Carlisle HVAC’s specifications - Carlisle HVAC products and uses - Company policies and procedures - Department policies and procedures - Company organization and locations - Laptop and Tablet usage - Smartphone usage - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint - Essential Full Performance Skills: - Oral Communication - Directly communicate with product Managers, Specialists, and Technical & Warranty Service Coordinators / Administrators. - Comfortable speaking in front of public/audience (Consultant, Rep, Distributor, Applicators, etc.) about CHVAC, products, and repair issues. - Communicate internally with Sales Managers, Tech Sales Reps, Customer Service and Product Managers - Interpersonal skills - Understanding, interpreting client’s language and concerns - Organization - Independent scheduling and completion of work assigned - Response to e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner - Adjust schedule as needed. - Driver’s License - Eye-Hand Coordination - Typing - Dexterity - Hand / Power Tools - Common Sense Working Conditions - Majority of time spent in an outside work environment. - Most travel to meeting sites and other duties is by airplane or rental car. - Hours Worked: 40 plus travel at times after hours and on weekends. Most work conducted is in the field. Approximately 10-15% of work is administration or in an office setting (May be at place or residency). - Days of Week Worked: Monday thru Friday normally. Occasional Saturday or Sunday work travel as required. - Shifts Worked: Daylight - This is a fully remote professional position. The incumbent is expected to maintain a dedicated, secure, and ergonomically appropriate home office environment with reliable high-speed internet connectivity. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining regular communication with colleagues and stakeholders through virtual collaboration tools.
