Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience performing full-cycle accounting functions.
- Required experience with **QuickBooks Online**.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data analysis.
- Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Ability to manage multiple entities and prioritize competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated interest in utilizing AI tools and automation to improve accounting workflows.

Role Description The Staff Accountant will review and analyze payroll reports to create necessary journal entries, manage inter-company billings with different regions, complete balance sheet reconciliations, some client billings, and other necessary tasks. - Prepare monthly journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts monthly, and conduct necessary account analysis and research. - Review bi-weekly payroll reports for accuracy (e.g., cost center coding and hours worked), investigate variances, and prepare related journal entries. - Review travel and expense (T&E) activity to ensure accurate billing and proper cost center coding; follow up with employees on corrections as needed; and prepare related journal entries. - Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation accurately and timely. - Prepare intercompany billings and related journal entries as needed, reconcile intercompany activity with various regions, and complete monthly intercompany payments in accordance with company guidelines. - Partner with a co-worker to maintain fixed asset and prepaid expense accounting records, including reviewing A/P payments to determine capitalization eligibility, recording additions and disposals (fully depreciated, sold, returned, or no longer in use), and allocating/posting monthly depreciation and prepaid expense amortization. - Answer questions from associates and managers on matters relating to the general ledger and posted items. - Maintain all records, files, and documentation for account transactions in accordance with company record keeping retention guidelines. - Support VP Finance and Director Finance on monthly close, forecasting, budgeting and reporting where needed. - Complete customer financial reporting, analysis, and billing for clients when necessary. - Adhere to all corporate deadlines with respect to monthly close, intercompany, and budgeting/forecasting processes. Role Description The Senior Accountant – The US Oncology Network (USON) is a senior-level individual contributor responsible for supporting accounting and financial operations for US Oncology Network practices. This role partners closely with accountants, Practice Controllers, Accounting Managers, and Senior Accounting Managers to coordinate business activities, execute and oversee month-end close processes, ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls, and drive process improvement initiatives. The role functions as a lead accounting resource, exercising independent judgment, influencing across teams, and owning complex accounting activities without direct people management responsibilities.
