Role Description We’re looking for a QA Engineer to help drive quality across our distributed SaaS ecosystem. You will build and maintain automated test suites, strengthen our CI/CD pipelines, and ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and reliable. This is a hands‑on engineering role within a modern, collaborative team focused on continuous improvement, transparency, and delivering high‑impact products. What You'll Do: - Manual & Exploratory Testing - Execute manual test cases for UI, API, and end‑to‑end user workflows. - Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and user-impacting defects. - Document clear, reproducible bug reports and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. - Validate business requirements and user acceptance criteria through hands‑on testing. - Automation Engineering - Develop and maintain automated tests for UI, API, microservices, and integration layers. - Contribute to scalable, reusable automation frameworks stored in GitHub. - Create validations for distributed systems, service‑to‑service interactions, queues, and API contracts. - Quality Ownership - Work closely with developers and product partners to understand story details and test requirements. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable execution. - Support exploratory, UAT, and end‑to‑end testing for user‑focused scenarios. - Collaboration & Continuous Improvement - Participate in code reviews, GitHub workflows, and team automation practices. - Engage in team learning sessions and internal quality improvement initiatives. - Contribute ideas to improve testing approaches and overall product quality. Qualifications - Individual must be Bilingual in Spanish & English (verbal and written). - 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in QA automation or test engineering. - Familiarity with writing test cases, test plans, and defect documentation. - Understanding of functional testing, regression testing, and user‑flow validation. - Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation. - Understanding of WebdriverIO and/or Playwright. - Proven ability to automate UI, API, and integration scenarios. - Familiar with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar cloud platforms. Requirements - Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. - Basic understanding of REST APIs and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM). - Awareness of CI/CD principles is beneficial. - Ability to write and understand basic SQL queries. - Good understanding of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM). - Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. - Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset. - Attention to detail and a passion for delivering quality. - Curiosity and adaptability with a desire to continually improve testing skills. Nice to Have - Exposure to SQL basics. - Awareness of performance or accessibility testing concepts. - Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) through university or personal projects. - Understanding of accessibility testing principles (WCAG 2.1 AA).
