• Work with the client, Gainwell business teams, Gainwell technical teams, and other vendors to identify and develop business and technical solutions • Analyze CoreMMIS reports to resolve discrepancies/errors • Develop requirements, business designs, and business processes for required system changes • Develop and/or coordinate creation of ad hoc reports to monitor, support, and analyze Provider Enrollment processes • Participate in internal and external committees and workgroups as requested • Project a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment • Effectively manage time and work independently in a strong team environment
Job Requirements
- 9+ years of Business Analyst experience in Healthcare Industry
- Familiarity with private health insurance and Medicaid is required
- Prior experience with health insurance including knowledge of Member and Provider Relations, Systems Life Cycle, and Project Management
- Strong understanding of accounting and finance functions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Advanced PC skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

• Responsible for implementation and execution of various post-award and financial management activities for grants, contracts and/or clinical trials within the Sponsored Programs Financial Services (SPFS). • Responsibilities include award set-up, transaction processing, compliance review, cash management, collections, financial reporting and project close-out. • Analyze financial results and outcomes, trends/projections, and performance metrics and provide root cause analysis to facilitate business decisions. • Develop full understanding of payment terms and payment schedules as outlined in agreements. • Independently prepares simple to complex financial reports and monitors all internal and Sponsor stipulated deadlines and content requirements. • Ensure all invoices and payments are complete.
