Healthcare Data Analyst Intern

Principle Health Systems

Role Description - Assist in gathering, structuring, and analyzing large and complex data sets from multiple sources to identify patterns and trends. - Assist in health care claims analysis for the identification of billing opportunities. - Assist in the development and enhancement of dashboards and reports for external or internal reporting purposes. - Produce effective professional presentations of data and analyses. - Assist in automating report and dashboard delivery. - Perform data integrity checks between databases. - Run reports from databases and prepare spreadsheets for reporting. Qualifications - Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science or Business. - 0-3 years’ experience (Healthcare/Medical background a plus); no experience required. - Proficiency in MS Excel. - Sufficient written and verbal skills. - Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail. - Must be able to problem solve and adjust priorities with little advance notice to meet deadlines and requests. - Basic proficiency in SQL, ability to use AI to build SQL queries. - Basic proficiency in PowerBI. - Understanding of statistics.
