Role Description At TD SYNNEX, our Field Solution Architects play a critical role in shaping how customers and partners design, adopt, and scale modern IT solutions. As a Field Solution Architect II, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping translate complex business challenges into scalable technology solutions across data center, hyperconverged, cloud, and multi-vendor environments. This is a highly visible, partner-facing role where you will collaborate with sales, vendors, and engineering teams to drive impactful outcomes. What You’ll Do - Pre-Sales Solution Design & Customer Engagement - Serve as a technical advisor supporting partner and customer pre-sales engagements, including solution design, sizing, and deployment guidance. - Translate customer business needs into tailored, multi-vendor technology solutions. - Contribute to RFI/RFP responses by clarifying requirements and recommending optimal configurations. - Provide technical expertise on product capabilities, integration, and deployment best practices. - Technical Enablement & Training - Design and deliver custom product demonstrations aligned to real-world customer use cases. - Lead technical training sessions for partners, resellers, and end customers (onsite and virtual). - Develop enablement content, demo environments, and solution center assets. - Collaboration & Industry Engagement - Partner cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and vendor teams to build innovative solutions. - Participate in executive briefings, technical conferences, trade shows, and marketing events. - Support vendor certification initiatives and create technical roadmaps to enhance partner capabilities. - Support & Continuous Improvement - Troubleshoot and support technical escalations with hands-on data collection for engineering teams. - Contribute to programmatic initiatives that improve solution delivery and partner success. - Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends. Qualifications - 5–8 years of experience in a pre-sales, solutions architect, or technical consulting role. - Experience with data center infrastructure, cloud, hyperconverged, or multi-vendor solutions. - Strong understanding of solution integration, configuration, and deployment requirements. - Industry certifications (or willingness to obtain) across key vendor technologies. Requirements - Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value. - Strong presentation and communication skills, including delivering to large audiences. - Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities. - Project or program management experience is a plus.
