Integration Architect

Stefanini Brasil

• Design integrations, map interfaces, and ensure governance of integration solutions within our organization. • Elicit and detail integration requirements with business areas and technical teams, covering both functional and non-functional requirements. • Define the appropriate integration style for each scenario (synchronous, asynchronous, batch). • Design end-to-end flows, including request/response, events, compensations, and retry strategies. • Define architectural patterns and document them in accessible repositories. • Evaluate integration solutions based on cost, risk, and implementation time. • Build and maintain an Interface Map, documenting detailed information about integrations. • Produce and maintain living documentation, including OpenAPI/AsyncAPI, runbooks, and diagrams. • Define contracts and guidelines for APIs and events, ensuring compatibility and governance. • Implement security and compliance patterns in integrations, in accordance with LGPD. • Conduct Architecture Reviews and provide mentoring to development teams.

Job Requirements

  • Strong experience in integration architecture, including API integration, event-driven architectures, and legacy system integration.
  • Deep knowledge of integration styles: REST, gRPC, event-driven, message queues, and ESB/iPaaS integrations.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools such as OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, and UML diagrams.
  • Experience defining and implementing security standards (OAuth2, JWT, etc.) and compliance (LGPD).
  • Ability to use versioning and governance tools for APIs and events.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum of [X years] experience in similar roles (adjust as needed).
  • Certifications in Software Architecture, Data Integrity, or related areas are a plus.
