• Winning the confidence of our prospective customers through the successful delivery of discovery, analysis and design workshops that shape and influence the customer’s use cases and architecture design decisions to align with the Red Hat solution. • Designing and scoping delivery projects as well as leading consulting teams through successful customer pilot and production deployments. • The design, creation and delivery of content that enables the broader Red Hat organization to sell (pre-sales), service (consulting) and support (CEE) our solutions at scale. • Work closely with product business units, product engineering, consulting, support, and sales to ensure a world-class customer experience with Red Hat’s products. • Contribute to the development of repeatable methodologies and tools designed to scale Red Hat’s services capabilities, promote repeatable customer engagements, and lower delivery risk. • Demonstrate thought leadership in the community by producing world-class white papers, webinars, etc. and speaking at industry leading conferences.
Job Requirements
- Background in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (Command line skills, Linux network configuration)
- Experience with Containers, container management utilities and debugging containers; also Quay
- Skills in Package management, both on the CLI and with Red Hat Satellite
- Hands-on knowledge in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOSO18 requires OCP as the base platform to be deployed upon, so OCP knowledge becomes a prerequisite for OSP)
- Architecture skills, specifically around datacenter infrastructure (networking, compute and storage)
- Compute skills: Lights-Out-Management LOM (IPMI, Redfish), UEFI/BIOS, server hardware
- Networking skills: Software Defined Networking SDN, Layer 2 (ARP, MAC), Layer 3 (TCP, UDP) and Layer 4 (IP), Open Virtual Switch OVS
- Storage skills Software Defined Storage SDS (Ceph), SAN, NAS
- Ansible experience (playbooks and troubleshooting)
- Authentication and Authorization (Red Hat IDM, Active Directory)
- Experience with network/datacenter design, elaboration of design and architecture documents and scoping/discovery sessions

Role Description We are seeking a seasoned Microservices Architect to lead the design and evolution of large-scale microservices ecosystems built on modern container platforms and cloud-native technology stacks.
