Proposal Coordinator

Role Description Marstel-Day, LLC, a premier environmental and sustainability consulting firm, is seeking a mid- to senior-level Proposal Coordinator with multiple skills in proposal preparation, writing, document layout, proposal organization, and proposal process management. We offer a flexible work environment where candidates work remotely and provide support from anywhere in the United States. - Lead or support proposal efforts for Federal and other procurements (state, local, and/or private sector). - Serve as a coordinator supporting a Proposal Manager and team or work as the Proposal Manager overseeing a team to prepare a procurement response. - Coordinate multiple proposals of various sizes. - Analyze RFP requirements. - Coordinate and manage proposal teams. - Schedule management. - Create non-technical proposal content. - Proposal review and quality assurance including organizing review teams (pink, red, and gold). - Work with Capture Managers to develop win themes and competitive responses. - Manage company qualifications and resumes. Qualifications - Demonstrated experience and success leading proposal responses for Federal (SF330s, RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, Sources Sought), state, and/or local government procurements in the role as the Proposal Coordinator and/or Proposal Manager. - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, planning, English, journalism, communications, or related field. - Excellent writing, document copy editing, document layout design, and organizational skills. - Formatting proposal text and graphics to make proposals more aesthetically pleasing and easier to read. - Strong ability to collaborate, communicate, and interact with multidiscipline proposal teams. - Strong proposal management and team building skills, and ability to maintain schedules. - High-level proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word® and some skills with Adobe InDesign® for proposal formatting and layout. - Self-motivated and ability to work independently in a flexible work environment. - Meticulous attention to detail. Requirements - Be eligible to work in the U.S. (DHS Form I-9 must be completed by the incumbent and submitted to DHS for verification of citizenship and eligibility through E-Verify). - Submit to a background check as a condition of any final offer of employment.
