Senior Finance Executive

• To drive monthly closing processes and execute accounting reconciliations to achieve audit-ready financial data in compliance with statutory, internal policies and reporting requirements. • Build and execute monthly balance sheet reconciliation processes to be delivered in a clear, accessible, and standardized format • Execute and drive month-end closing processes and schedule • Review general ledger and ensure entries are recorded in a timely, accurate and complete manner for the month-end closing (3BD after month end) • Maintain Chart of Accounts (COA) and ensure strict application of COA definitions in transactional accounting • Prepare multi-jurisdictional entity consolidated P&L and balance sheet • Oversee daily transactional accounting processes and reconciliations across the jurisdictions to ensure adherence to accounting and internal controls framework and ensure open items are resolved in a timely manner • Perform intercompany reconciliations • Prepare GST/VAT reconciliations and filings in compliance with the respective jurisdictions (SG and AU) • Support management reporting • Implement new accounting requirements arising from new accounting standards or business requirements • Prepare local financial statements and audit requirements • Continuously review accounting processes and propose steps to strengthen financial controls in collaboration with IT and business • Continuously identify and implement automation or streamline processes through utilization of IT tool

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Business, or similar field; CPA/CA (or equivalent) strongly preferred; 5-8 years total experience
  • Proven track record in delivering timely and quality month-end closing within 3BD
  • Experienced with Financial / ERP systems and ability to reconcile financial data across multiple platforms
  • Hands-on experience managing accounting for entities across multiple jurisdictions
