• Manage daily bookkeeping and accounting operations across multiple entities • Maintain accurate general ledger records and chart of accounts • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts • Prepare journal entries and lead month-end close processes • Produce financial reports and operational reporting for leadership • Maintain and audit financial records in QuickBooks Online • Monitor customer balances, collections, and open invoices • Track commissions and manage partner-related accounting • Proactively identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues • Improve accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls • Build and maintain SOPs and process documentation for the finance function.

• Contributes to NFPA’s Mission, Vision, and Strategic initiatives by playing a critical leadership role in safeguarding the financial integrity of the organization • Supports organizational decision-making through financial analysis and the proper execution of transactions. • Responsible for maintaining the integrity of NFPA’s financial systems, safeguarding assets, ensuring accurate monthly financials and maintaining fiscal discipline • Oversee the accounting, payables, financial system controls, payroll and taxation functions. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow). • Analyze financial information detailing assets and liabilities and make appropriate entries to ensure accuracy.

• Providing around the clock on call maintenance coordination and oversight for 5 assigned aircraft from the Part 135 Charter Fleet. • Support flight crews with on the road maintenance support via phone, text and email. • Communicate with maintenance vendors remotely via phone, text and email to return aircraft to service. • Assist Director of Maintenance with scheduled and maintenance and planning. • Assist with performing onsite and remote vendor audits. • Work flexible/extended hours with short-notice schedule changes. • Speak/read/write English fluently. • Work in an at times physically demanding role. • Complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test and background check.

Do you have experience working in finance and want to develop further? We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to join Moonshot, supporting our finance team. In this role, you will help drive the organisation forward by continuing to improve our financial processes, lead our cash management processes as well as reporting requirements. - Lead the cash forecasting process in both the short and medium term. - Lead the multi-currency consolidation of five operating companies across the UK, Ireland, Canada, and the United States. - Prepare and analyse project profitability, variance analysis, and management reports. - Liaise with project teams on a monthly basis regarding adherence to grant/contract rules, billing, and margin reporting. - Support the Finance Director in preparing monthly and quarterly KPI and financial reports for clients, investors, and the Board. - Facilitate the annual audit process with external auditors. - Provide line management to one direct report. - Work with external payroll agents to process and review payroll for UK, US, Canada, and Ireland entities. - Process and review accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely reconciliation with monthly supplier accounts. - Coordinate and participate in regular meetings with clients and the leadership team. - Ensure compliance across the organisation, including statutory and sales tax returns across all entities. - Investigate any financial inconsistencies. - Undertake other activities as required. This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in Ontario, Canada, due to employment and regulatory requirements. Qualifications - CPA qualification (or ACCA equivalent). - Proven experience in a similar finance role. - Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting. - Strong expertise in risk analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. - Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets) or MS Excel. - Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised. - Ability to complete tasks within tight deadlines. - Proactive, self-motivated, and tenacious in identifying and investigating inconsistencies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements - We require and will check on candidates' eligibility to work in Canada. - Candidates will be expected to undertake and pass any relevant security clearance procedures per clients' needs.
