• Posting receipts into our billing system from EOP (Explanation of Payment) from insurance companies and patient payments. • Utilizing electronic postings from 835's as well as manual posting. • Measuring staff by a weekly average of productivity measurements and quality checks. • Analyzing and investigating reimbursements or refund requests from third party payers. • Researching and analyzing third party payer remittance documentation for payment priority and adjustment applications. • Performing daily and monthly reconciliations to the general ledger, to include reclassifications. • Follow up directly with third-party payers and or patients to resolve payment posting issues.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Completed degree from an accredited institution may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
- Knowledge of posting payments and resolving denials via 835/EOB/EOP, collecting and/or posting payments, and processing claims/bills/invoices is preferred.

Role Description CardioOne is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee and optimize the revenue cycle for our cardiology-focused practice partners. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for AR functions across multiple physician groups and locations, driving performance, team accountability, and process improvement to ensure timely collections, accurate billing, and effective resolution of outstanding claims. - Own and continuously improve CardioOne's AR tracking processes, ensuring data integrity, aging accuracy, and actionable visibility across all practice partners. - Monitor outstanding balances, claims status, and payment posting to ensure timely follow-up and resolution. - Identify and escalate trends in denials, underpayments, and aging buckets to leadership. - Ensure all AR activity is documented within the practice management system per CardioOne standards. Payer & Vendor Relations: - Serve as the primary point of contact for payer escalations, claim disputes, and appeals across commercial and government payers. - Collaborate with third-party billing vendors to ensure accurate and timely claim submission, follow-up, and resolution. - Provide vendors with necessary clinical documentation, payer requirements, and practice-specific information to support collections. - Act as the escalation point when claims remain unresolved past defined thresholds.
