Job Description

Senior Manager, Geospatial Intelligence – Localized Assortment & Store Clustering

The Kraft Heinz Company

• Develop and maintain store-level clustering strategies based on shopper behavior, trade area composition, demographic shifts, and emerging market trends. • Leverage Placer.ai and other data sources to create micro-assortment recommendations. • Analyze store-level and market-level data to identify current and future localized opportunities that influence category strategy and assortment decisions. • Build event-, weather-, and season-based playbooks that help customer teams and partners respond to changing local demand patterns. • Identify local and regional seasonal opportunities, including multicultural events, temporary population shifts, and other market-specific drivers of demand. • Conduct incursion analysis to evaluate the impact of new store openings near existing locations and recommend actions to mitigate risk or unlock growth. • Synthesize data from the Category Intelligence Platform into clear business insights and recommendations. • Present actionable, data-driven recommendations that support both strategic planning and local execution.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Analytics, Business, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Significant experience in geospatial analytics, retail analytics, category management, localized assortment, space planning, or related commercial strategy roles.
  • Experience using Placer.ai or similar mobility/location intelligence platforms.
  • Strong understanding of trade area analytics, shopper behavior, store clustering, and localized retail strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience working with integrated datasets that connect geospatial, shopper, and store-level operational data.
  • Proven ability to convert complex analyses into clear business recommendations that influence customer-facing and internal decisions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate as a subject matter expert across multiple audiences.
