• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership. • Collaborate closely with the European Finance Team on consolidated reporting, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and financial analysis. • Manage quarterly and annual intercompany reconciliation audits. • Support international financial reporting requirements and ensure consistency between U.S. and European entities. • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and reports for leadership and corporate stakeholders. • Oversee customer invoicing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliations. • Monitor aging reports and proactively manage outstanding receivables. • Partner with project managers and sales teams to ensure accurate and timely billing. • Respond to client inquiries regarding invoices, payment status, and account balances. • Oversee vendor invoice processing, approvals, and payment schedules. • Manage ACH and wire transfer payments. • Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment inquiries. • Ensure accurate expense coding and proper allocation to budgets and cost centers. • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies. • Record and review all monthly accounting transactions, including revenue, expenses, payroll, intercompany activity, and treasury transactions. • Perform revenue recognition and related month-end adjustments. • Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial data across systems. • Support development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. • Analyze historical spending trends and develop financial projections. • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to management. • Manage cash flow forecasting and treasury activities. • Administer profit distribution schedules. • Coordinate banking, insurance, and corporate finance activities. • Prepare supporting schedules and reports for corporate stakeholders. • Supervise and develop one Finance Assistant. • Review accounting work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. • Establish priorities and provide guidance for daily accounting operations. • Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and corporate reporting requirements. • Support external audits and tax filings. • Maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field **required.**
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- Experience managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Experience working within multinational or international organizations required.
- Experience supporting intercompany accounting and consolidated financial reporting preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience required.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP (Business by Design) is required.
- Experience with QuickBooks is required.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems, financial reporting, and accounting controls.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively across international teams and cultures.
